Hinder and Deneuve

Hinder sighed peacefully and smiled.

He stirred when the morning sun streamed into the room and groaned, tugging the blankets over his head.

By that point in time, Deneuve had been awake for quite some time. Finishing up his shower, he exited the bathroom and blinked when he found that Hinder was still asleep. He laughed lightly and walked over to the bed, lightly kissing his temple.

"Mm...morning..."

Hinder groaned quietly and shook his head. "Mornings suck," he grumbled quietly.

"Least you're not hungover." Deneuve mused.

"Mm, that's a good thing, but I still don't like mornings though," Hinder grumbled, peering up at Deneuve through one eye.

"You'll get used to them." Deneuve mused faintly.

"You want breakfast? I have to leave in about two hours."

Hinder stared at him blankly. "Two hours?" he asked. "Why the fuck are you up so early if you still have all that time?"

"...I wanted to spend more time with you..." Deneuve replied softly, looking almost a little dejected.

"I'll let you sleep though if you'd rather. I figured you'd want to eat before I left though...I can make you breakfast..."

Hinder watched him for a moment before he sighed and smiled. "I'll get up," he said "Breakfast sounds really good."

"You don't have to." Deneuve assured him with a faint smile.

"I'm sorry for waking you."

"Hey, no taking back that promise of breakfast," Hinder said, pointing at him. He smiled. "Besides, I'm awake now. Trying to get back to sleep will be impossible."

Deneuve smiled faintly before nodding.

"Sorry.' He apologised again.

"What would you like for breakfast?"

Hinder grinned. "Other than you?" he asked. "Bacon and eggs sound lovely."

Deneuve laughed lightly and then smiled.

"Anything else?"

"Toast and orange juice. No, milk. No, orange juice." Hinder pursed his lips slightly thinking. "I don't know which one. Pick one."

"...chocolate milk?" Deneuve offered, blinking.

Hinder's face lit up. "Hey! That works," he laughed.

Deneuve laughed faintly and then smiled.

"Okay. You take a shower and I'll start breakfast, yeah?"

Hinder smiled and nodded. "Sounds like a plan," he replied, sitting up and stretching.

"Mm! Great. You can wear some of my clothes if you want. Instead of wearing the ones you wore yesterday." The officer beamed.

Hinder laughed. "Would any of your clothes fit me?" he asked.

"Probably not...but it's better than wearing dirty clothes, right?" The officer mused.

"Mm, true enough," Hinder replied and smiled. "Alright! So, shower and breakfast. Got it!"

"Meet you downstairs!" Deneuve laughed, heading to his dresser.

"I still gotta get dressed."

"Mm, mm hm. Remember to leave out some clothes for me," Hinder said, getting up and heading to the bathroom to shower.
