Jaye and Lorelei

Lorelei's smile dropped from her face and she seemed to pull back a little. Gilbert was the first one to Seneca's side, wrapping his arms around his husband affectionately and in an assuring manner.

"Seneca...where's Blaze?" He asked softly.

Seneca wrapped his arms around Gilbert, holding onto him tightly. "I couldn't find him," he whispered tearfully and shook his head. "I don't know where he could've gone."

"I'll go find him." Lorelei put in suddenly, softly.

She didn't look at Seneca as she shrugged faintly.

'It's my fault anyway. Like always..." She murmured almost absently.

"There can't be many places he would go."

Seneca looked over at her and his eyes filled with tears before he went over to her and pulled her into his arms, hugging her.

Lorelei went a little rigid before she offered her mother a grin - which in turn seemed rather feeble in comparison to her usual grins.

"Don't worry too much, Mom. I'll be awesome and find him. Then maybe I'll make it up to you a little bit for being so unawesome..."

Seneca shook his head slightly and hugged Lorelei tighter, trembling faintly. "I love you," he whispered to her. "I always will, no matter what. You'll always be my awesome little girl."

Lorelei smiled weakly as she returned the embrace.

"I totally know that, Mom. Love ya too. People like me don't run out of awesome. I'm just sorry I'm not more awesome..." She could have added "like Abel" but decided to spare her brother being singled out because he didn't deserve that.

"I'm going to go find Blaze now." She muttered, pulling back.

Seneca nodded, chewing his bottom lip to keep it from trembling. "Please be careful," he whispered. "Please."

Lorelei grinned again and nodded before flicking her wrist in a faint goodbye and heading out of the house.

Gilbert sighed softly.

"I think she's upset too..." He murmured softly.

Seneca bowed his head. "I know she is," he whispered sadly and looked to Banquo and Marco, fresh tears coming to his eyes. "I'm so sorry about all this," he said sadly. "Maybe we shouldn't have come today."

Banquo shook his head and reached out to hug Seneca close.

"No, no, don't say that! It's okay. These things happen. Everything will be better."

Seneca returned the embrace, bowing his head. "I'm so sorry."

"It's not your fault, Seneca." Banquo assured him softly.

"He's right." Gilbert sighed heavily.

"It's more mine than anything..."

Seneca looked over at him and sobbed faintly, going over to him and hugging him tightly. "It's not," he whispered.

Gilbert shushed him softly and held him close, kissing his forehead softly.

"Then whose fault is it?" He mumbled faintly.

'I'm not going to blame you. They all adore you...I'm the problem here."

"Gilbert," Seneca said sadly. "You're a wonderful father, don't blame yourself."

Gilbert shrugged and sighed softly.

"Oh yeah...so wonderful..."

Tears rolled down Seneca's cheeks. "Gilbert, you are," he whispered, hugging him tightly.

Gilbert sighed softly and smiled faintly.

"Mm, anyway, don't worry. Lorelei will bring Blaze back here. For now, let's try and have some fun hangin' out with friends, okay?"

Seneca kept his head bowed and nodded slightly, going to Banquo. "I'm still really sorry," he said sadly and looked to Jaye. "We're not always this dysfunctional," he said to him. Jaye smiled and shook his head.
"It's okay," he replied. "Every family has their moments like this." Seneca nodded slightly and went back to Gilbert, hugging him again.

"It's alright, Seneca. Jaye's right." Banquo assured the other once more.

Gilbert held Seneca close and sighed softly.

"Yeah...some just more than others I guess."

"Well, let's just say this is nothing compared to what my family's like," Jaye mumbled. "You guys are close knit compared to mine. We never got along and we were at each other throats more often than you could count."

Banquo bit his bottom lip slightly and looked to Marco, leaning against him faintly.

Gilbert sighed softly.
"Mm...well, I hope that we don't let it get that bad."

"You won't," Marco said, embracing Banquo. "Would you two care for some tea or something? Sit down and relax."

"Sounds awesome." Gilbert murmured softly, holding Seneca close.

Banquo nodded faintly and leaned up to kiss Marco's chin faintly.

"I- I'll go make the tea..." He whispered softly, glancing to Jaye.

"Would you like some as well?"
