Jaye and Lorelei

Blaze looked over at her. "You better be," he grumbled.

"Well, if anything happens, I totally know that you and Dad would totally kick his ass." Lorelei beamed.

"Ya, you bet we would," Blaze replied under his breath. "We'd do more than just kick his ass. We'd hand it to him on a fucking silver platter."

"See? Then I've got nothing to worry about." Lorelei laughed happily.

"Ya but still. He could really hurt you if he wanted to," Blaze grumbled.

"You underestimate me sometimes, Blaze." Lorelei responded.

"And I think you're underestimating this Jaye guy. We don't know what he's capable of."

"Maybe. Let's hope that I don't find out then." The girl replied faintly.

Blaze sighed and nodded. "Definitely," he replied.

"What would you have me do, Blaze? Like hell am I not going to date someone I like because people worry about me." She muttered faintly.

"I don't know. You're the type to rush in without really thinking things through," he said. "That's why we worry."

"Well, if I think too much, I wouldn't do anything." Lorelei responded.

"Live life fast. Before it kills you."

"If you live life too fast, it'll kill you before your time," Blaze replied.

"At least it'll be with a smile on my face."

Blaze sighed. "I don't even wanna think about it," he grumbled.

"You're so pessimistic." Lorelei mumbled.

Blaze sighed. "I hope he's good to you," he mumbled.

"I hope so." Lorelei murmured softly.

"I want what you have.'

Blaze smiled. "You'll get it," he said softly.

"But I want it now..." Lorelei whispered.

"M- maybe I'm not 'girly' enough..."

Blaze sighed. "Not everything happens when we want it, Lorelei," he said. "You'll get it when you're meant to."

Lorelei sighed faintly.

"I'm not a patient person..."

"Well, with love, you have to be patient," Blaze replied.

"Ugh! And that's why you and Abel have someone and I don't." She muttered.

"I just go go go! No one likes that..."

"Not yet," Blaze replied. "You just haven't found the right guy."
