High School Never Ends!!!

Savion nodded slightly. "Does he like it?" he asked.

"He doesn't complain about it." Alfred mused.

"So I guess he does."

Savion nodded. "That's good," he replied and glanced down at the backpack at his feet, not even bothering to get his own homework out, knowing he wouldn't have time to get to it anyway.

Alfred frowned faintly as he watched the other before he grinned a little.

"Did you eat this morning?" He asked.

"I have something to give you for a snack if you didn't have time ~"

The black haired male paused, looking up at him. "Eat?" he asked. "Uh, no. I didn't eat. I rarely eat in the morning."

Alfred stared at him before he grinned.

"Are you hungry now?"

Savion paused, watching him. "Um, a little, I guess?" he replied. "Why?"

"I was gonna give you a snack!" Alfred grinned.

"I just said that!"

Savion shook his head. "No, I couldn't accept that," he replied. "It's fine."

Alfred ignored that statement and already pushed Savion a granola bar -perhaps it was something small, but it did mean something. It showed his concern for the other, in a way that wasn't terribly obvious.

"Eating something always makes you feel a little bit better. Especially if you're tired."

The black haired male stared at the granola bar and sighed, taking it timidly. "Thank you," he whispered.

"You're welcome!" Alfred beamed.

"I know it's not much, but it's still somethin'."

Savion nodded, opening the snack and nibbling on it. "Thank you," he said again.

"You're welcome ~" Alfred grinned happily before pausing.

"....did you even bring a lunch today?"

Savion paused and in that moment's hesitation, Alfred knew. "Um, I-I brought something," Savion said quietly. "It's okay."

Alfred stared at him before he grinned.

"Well, save it for later then. I'm gonna buy our lunches today." He beamed happily, not letting it slip for a moment that he knew the truth.

"No arguing! I don't mind at all! It's all cool! I normally leave school properly at lunch to get food anyway."

Savion stared at him, his mouth opening and closing a few times in his shock. "I-I can't let you do that," he whispered. "You should save your money."

"For what?" Alfred snorted in amusement.

"Don't worry about it, Savvy! I can think of no better use for it than buying lunch."

Savion chewed his lip. "Are you sure?" he asked. "I-I don't want you to waste your money. I mean, you don't even know me that well."

"It's not a waste of money." Alfred beamed happily, expression bright.

"It isn't! I mean, we need food to live and stuff like that. It's important to eat and I don't mind buying you food. I know you well enough, anyway."

Savion chewed his lip and sighed. "A-alright," he murmured. "If, if you're sure."

"Of course I'm sure ~" Alfred grinned happily.

The black haired male sighed and nodded. "Thank you," he said quietly. "I truly appreciate it."

"Not a problem!" Alfred beamed happily.

"Like, I don't mind at all!"

Savion nodded and sighed, bowing his head slightly. "So, did you get your math homework done?" he asked.
