Jaye and Lorelei

Lorelei swallowed faintly and then gave an small nod.

"Y- yeah...I- I'll talk to Mom if you talk to Dad."

Blaze nodded and held his hand out to his sister. "It's a deal," he said to her.

Lorelei paused and stared at her brother's hand before she reached out and shook her brother's hand firmly.

"A deal."

Blaze nodded slightly. "Now, cheer up, okay?" he asked softly. "It's weird seeing you so depressed."

Lorelei swallowed and then smiled weakly.

"Sorry...I- I'll try not to be anything like that from now on..."

Blaze sighed. "Well, as long as you try," he said to her. He paused. "Um, and I'm sorry too," he said. "For being an asshole."

Lorelei bit her bottom lip and then grinned faintly.

"Everyone can be an asshole at some point in time." She murmured, absently resting her head on her brother's shoulder.

"Anyway, it's okay."

Blaze nodded slightly. "You're sure it's okay?" he asked, looking over at her.

"Of course. I can be an unawesome asshole too. No worries." Lorelei laughed faintly.

Blaze sighed and nodded slightly. "Alright," he replied. "So, no hard feelings then? We're still close?"

"Of course!" Lorelei beamed, hugging her brother.

"Always!"

Blaze smiled and nodded, returning the embrace. "So, you suddenly have a thing for that Jaye fellow, huh?"

"He has a sexy ass." Lorelei replied simply with a grin.

Blaze laughed, shaking his head. "Only you would see that," he replied. "So, you hoping to get with that sexy ass?"

"Mm! Totally. I need to get me some of that. I copped a feel already and oh God that was some great ass." She grinned wide.

Her brother laughed. "Ya, he seemed to enjoy it too," he replied.

"Great. He better have. I don't just grope everyone I meet." Lorelei beamed faintly.

Blaze laughed. "Ya, but you should be careful with this one. He seems, I dunno, different," he said.

"Oh? I like different. Different is good." Lorelei replied thoughtfully.

"Different could also be dangerous," Blaze pointed out.

"Ooh! I like dangerous!' Lorelei immediately perked up, smile bright.

Blaze sighed, shaking his head. "Dangerous could get ugly," he mumbled.

"He's too sexy to be ugly." Lorelei mused faintly.

Blaze sighed, shaking his head and rubbing his forehead. "Never mind," he muttered.

"I get it, you're worried." Lorelei told him softly.

"I'll be fine though. Really. I don't just jump in to stuff like that. We're going on a date tomorrow. If it works out, it works out."
