Cursed Objects :P

"You little wench! How dare you steal from me?!" The detestable woman howled and the pale skinned girl in front of her shook with obvious fear - emerald eyes flashing as she wondered just exactly why this woman decided that it was she that stole the precious spell book.

Quite honestly, Virgo was much too frightened of getting caught to do such things. Oh, the irony of the situation.

"M- Miss H- Havisham, b- but I-"

"ENOUGH!!! I will hear none of your lies! I've caught you red handed, pathetic girl!" A wrinkled, spotted finger was thrust towards the young woman's bosom - Virgo squeaked and took a step back, stumbling as her foot got caught in the legs of a stool.

Miss Havisham the witch was never the neatest of people. Since she had her heart broken years and years ago, she hardly left this little muggy confinement of a room. Virgo had been assigned to take care of this ragged woman, who was short, ugly in appearance and nature. With wire for hair and beady little eyes, the very sight of the witch woman sent shivers down the red headed girl's spine - even though she had been tending her for a good year or so now.

Of course, despite how uncomfortable the grumpy old woman made her feel, Virgo could not just up and leave. She had been left with a sense of duty to look after this woman with rather unique powers. That and Miss Havisham was a rather wealthy old badger of a woman and the younger woman's family needed such funds.

Virgo continued to tremble, green eyes watching warily as the huffing and puffing old hag tugged a coppery red hair from the girl's head. A soft whimper escaped the young teenager's throat and Havisham cackled, eyes flickering to the girl with nothing, but agony and hatred in her eyes.

When she jumped to conclusions, there was no way for someone to clear themselves.

"You stole my book and so, I will forever entrap you into a book of your own." The woman hissed, long fingers now pressing hard into the girl's slender neck and Virgo coughed, eyes wide and skin turning blue at the sheer pressure of it all.

The woman cackled at the girl's pain and uttered a few words before there was nothing, but cold darkness for the young girl.

She had no idea what she had just been thrown into because of simple misunderstanding.

The white haired teenage male stepped through the woods in silence, barely making a sound as he stepped over a fallen tree. He stayed close enough to the sound of the river a short distance away. The sun was setting and they needed wood for their fire. He paused as he noticed a particularly dry looking branch and he smiled, his bright eyes dancing with happiness. He knelt down and quietly cracked the branch into multiple different pieces.

He noticed a shoe and tilted his head to one side, staring at it with his arms full of twigs. He glanced back over his shoulder towards the river before back at the shoe. He rose nimbly to his feet and went over to it, looking down at it and tilting his head again. The single silver and diamond ring he wore on the middle finger on his right hand glinted in the sunlight as he reached down and lifted the shoe up, examining it. He lifted his head, looking around and stepped through the bushes around his ankles. It was strange to find a single shoe in the woods here; few people ever came in here. They were too afraid of it.

The white haired male yelped as he saw who the shoe belonged to and dropped both the shoe and the bundle of twigs he had before he bolted back the way he had come. "Python!" he screamed out frantically. "Python!"

The brown haired female glanced up from fishing and frowned. "Ivy?" she asked and quickly headed to the shore, her skirt sticking to her legs because it was wet. She dropped the basket of fish at their camp and ran into the woods where she could hear the white haired male screaming.

The white haired male glanced back over his shoulder and didn't notice the female heading in his direction. He ran into the brunette with another yelp. Thankfully, the two managed to stay on their feet and the female, Python, wrapped her arms around his slim form.

"Ivory, what? What's wrong?" she asked worried. The boy trembled and hugged her tightly, unable to speak for a few moments. "Ivory, tell me, what's wrong?" The white haired male looked up at her, his face pale and his eyes wide.

"Th-there's a girl," he whimpered, shuddering violently. His voice was soft and quiet, innocent. "B-back there. There's a girl." Python frowned and looked up at the woods around them.

"Show me, sweetheart," she said softly. Ivory trembled horribly and whimpered but he nodded anyway and reluctantly led the way back to where he had found the shoe. He hid behind Python the moment he saw the shoe and whimpered faintly. Python glanced back at him before she looked forward, moving ahead. She saw the girl and gasped softly, quickly going to her side and kneeling down. "Oh my," she whispered and gently rolled the redheaded female onto her back, checking her pulse. "Hey," she said, gently shaking the redheaded girl to try and wake her up. "Hey, honey, wake up."

The first thing Virgo felt upon regaining conciousness was a horribly aching skull. Second, she felt the gentle hands shaking her entire body, making her incredible headache worse. A soft whimper bubbled up in her throat and her eyes flickered open slowly. At first, she didn't have proper focus and couldn't properly see the young woman above her, but as soon as a few moments ticked by, she jolted up and stumbled over a fallen branch, yelping as she fell back to the forest floor.

Another soft whimper left her throat when she realised that this was not where she last remembered being.

And everything came rushing back so quickly.

"W- where am I?" She managed to utter, vision swimming as her head pounded.

Python frowned. "Be careful, you're injured," she said softly. "You're in Fennastia." She frowned. "You're safe."

The red headed girl whimpered faint as she tried once more to stand, a pain shooting entirely up her leg. She let out a loud yelp and fell back down, sniffling faintly.

"F- Fennastia?" The name was so unusual and yet so incredibly familiar.

It was then she remembered that Miss Havisham had mentioned locking her away in her own book. So...perhaps that was why it seemed familiar in at least some way? Miss Havisham had plenty of books in her own personal library and the young teenager had tidied that room more than once - sometimes glancing into the books themselves.

"O- ow..."

Python sighed. "I told you, you were injured," she said, moving closer to her despite the soft whimper of disapproval from the male behind her. "Let me see your leg."

Virgo whimpered again before slowly nodding, deciding to remain completely and entirely still.

"S- sorry..."

Python pulled the pant leg of the girl's pants up to look at her leg and she sighed. "Mm, it doesn't look like it's broken," she said softly. "But you should still be careful with it. What's your name?" she asked.

Virgo peered shyly and awkwardly at the other woman before biting at her bottom lip lightly.

"V- Virgo..." She whispered shyly.

"Y- yours?"

"Python," the other woman replied. She looked Virgo over and frowned faintly. "You're not from this place, are you?"

Virgo shifted awkwardly, wincing faintly.

"I- I...no?"

Python frowned. "Where are you from?" she asked.

Virgo was quiet, trying to form a proper response that wouldn't make her sound so entirely crazy.

Nothing came to mind, because the thought that she was crazy was very much there.

"I- I...Earth?"

Python tilted her head. "What's Earth?" she asked. The white haired male, hidden behind a tree, peeked out, watching the two females quietly.

"...somewhere that's not here." Virgo sighed, feeling extremely empty.

"Where everyone I know and love is."

"You were taken from your family?" Python asked. Ivory whimpered sadly, feeling for this new girl they had found.

Virgo was quiet and glanced down, forming fists with her hands and sniffling back her tears.

"I- I didn't do anything wrong..."

The white haired male hesitated before stepping forward and timidly holding out a handkerchief to her.

Virgo glanced up and sniffled, the tears bright in her eyes as she shyly reached for the handkerchief.

"Th- thank you..I- I'm sorry..."

"No need to be sorry, dear," Python said softly. "Come, I'll take you to our camp. You should drink some water."

Virgo nodded weakly and bit her lip, trying to stand once more.

"O- okay..."

Python quickly went to her side, helping her up. "Ivy, help me," she said to the white haired male. Ivory hesitated before uneasily stepping forward.

Virgo gasped softly and flushed looking down.

"I- I'm sorry...I- I'll try to walk..."

"Your leg is injured, sweetie," Python said as Ivory helped the redhead from the other side. "You need to let it heal before you go about doing anything like that."

Virgo shuddered faintly and bit her lip.

"O- okay...s- sorry..."
